Moose International announces the Membership Campaign for 2025-26
The 2025-26 Campaign Begins!
OUR RELEVANCE AS A FRATERNITY DEPENDS ON YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS AS MEMBERS
Let me emphasize that in another way. Whether or not our Social Quarters are profitable or we have functions for our members, our presence in the community equates to our reputation. That presence is you contribution as a member, and it is crucial. This is why our 2025-26 Membership campaign theme is "Moving Forward, Giving Back." For us to achieve the goals we have and to see the success we aim for, we have to remember to give back.
You've probably heard the statement that "perception is reality." How were are perceived is how we are judged. How often do we hear someone say that they don’t know what the Moose does or that they didn’t even know that we exist? How can people say that given all that we know we do? It’s because while we may do a good job at writing checks to make donations to organizations, we often do a poor job promoting what we do within our communities
When we are seen giving back to our communities, it helps us to move forward and grow. When we make a check presentation rather than simply mail the check; when we provide members to work on a project in support of an organization; when we invite leaders of an organization to our lodge, people in the community see us and have a better understanding what we are as Moose.
Unfortunately, we have a few lodges that feel they have enough members, and they want to stick to the few they are familiar with, and this stunts their growth as a lodge. If enough lodges carry this attitude, then we find ourselves unable to reach our goals as a Fraternity. We can’t grow in size or service unless we open our doors and hearts to more people and help them understand our relevance.
We become relevant by giving back. This is the reason we have chosen “Moving Forward, Giving Back” as this year’s theme. Our membership, retention, and relevance are growing within our communities. Let’s not hide behind a check. Instead, let’s become more hands-on in our communities.

Moose Member Orientation
Monday, September 23rd. 2024
6:00pm - 6:30pm
Members old and new are invited to attend and find out more of what THE MOOSE is all about
" I Know The Moose Certified "
Many of us forget that new members really know very little about how the Fraternity, or for that matter, how an individual lodge or chapter, operates. People want to believe that they joined an organization with a higher purpose, as well as one that celebrates life through activities and friendships at the local level. Use the materials below to supplement the information you will be providing at the local level. Make sure you discuss those areas that are most important for the new member, stay on-point, and make your presentation as interactive as possible.
