The Loyal Order of Moose is a fraternal and service organization founded in 1888, combining nearly 800,000 men in approximately 1,800 Lodges of the Loyal Order of Moose and more than 400,000 members in roughly 1,600 Chapters of the Women of the Moose, in 49 states and four Canadian provinces, plus Great Britain and Bermuda.

The men and women of the Moose support the operation of Mooseheart Child City & School, a 1,000-acre community for children and teens in need, located 40 miles west of Chicago; and Moosehaven, a 72-acre retirement community for its members near Jacksonville, FL.

Moose Lodges conduct between $70 million and $100 million worth of community service (counting monetary donations, volunteer hours worked, and miles driven) annually. Additionally, the Loyal Order of Moose conducts numerous sports and recreational programs, in local Lodges and Family Centers, in the majority of 44 State and Provincial Associations, and on a fraternity-wide basis.

From the Administrator ......

Things have been crazy since the opening in August. We have been taking things slow and have not had much to report on and no music or karaoke to speak of. I was reminded that many of our members did not even know we had opened. I am very sorry for that. Sometimes we think that since we know something, everyone else knows it also.

If you have not already, please come in and check out your new lodge looks and join us in preparing for the next fifty years of fraternalism and fellowship to be enjoyed by members young and old.

We are doing many spur of the moment events due to the fact that things are very fluid and change often. If you are on facebook, check out our daily postings there or just call us at the lodge, we would be very happy to assist you in any way we can ...

Hope To See You Soon ...
